Presentation of the workshop :
It takes place over 2 days in Paris.
The first day, in a room equipped with a video projector, you will learn how to create colorful architectural images, in the style you can see in my portfolio (section color architecture and Parisian views). To do so, you will work from image files that will be provided to you. You will transform them progressively thanks to the techniques that I will present to you. You will be guided throughout the process. During this day, you will also discover different selection techniques. Finally, tips on how to use Photoshop will be presented.

In mid-afternoon, you will attend a 2-hour printing workshop. A first part will be devoted to theory, and the second part to printing. At the end of the workshop, you will receive a 30x40 cm print from one of your images.
This printing workshop is offered in collaboration with PARISGRAPHYat their premises. You can discover their activity on their website, by clicking on the logo below:

On the second day, the morning will be dedicated to an outdoor photo trip, during which I will present my course dedicated to the architectural photo.

    Workshop on 19/20 October 2019

This was my second workshop after the one on black and white architecture a year ago. The approach of this workshop is different from black and white. The play of colours is very playful and allows you to let all possible fantasies run wild (a pink Ferrari is quite unlikely).

As in the first workshop, David is a very educationalist. He knows how to make techniques that seem very complex accessible. Each person is accompanied on the exercises without leaving anything out.

The exchange with the other trainees is also enriching; everyone has their own techniques, more or less conventional: -)

For the second day we had an appointment at the Parisgraphie workshop. Very friendly welcome by passionate people. Very clear explanations on printing techniques, the different papers and their rendering.
We were able to make a print on one of our images. A result faithful to what we had on the screen and of very good quality.

In conclusion, a workshop that I recommend for:
    - the quality of teaching,
    - the friendliness and attention paid to each one.

I will not miss the next workshop with Daniel Cheong.

    See you soon

    Workshop on 19/20 October 2019

First training with David, whose quality I appreciated. Patient, teacher, available, a positive assessment for this first workshop, in a most relaxed atmosphere, also thanking the Parisgraphie workshop for the welcome and advice provided, thank you all, I re-sign for the next edition without hesitation, see you very soon!

    Workshop on 19/20 October 2019

After several training sessions with David, I decided to do this color workshop in addition to the black and white one, in order to better understand the use of colors in Photoshop.
Always very educational and patient, David is not stingy with advice adapted to everyone and even less of his time, during of course but also afterwards to ensure after-sales service:)
The particularity of this workshop was to go as far as photo printing. So meet us the next day at the Parisgraphie workshop where a team of enthusiasts was waiting for us. After the technical explanations of printing and paper, it is time for practice. The result is simply amazing in terms of quality and fidelity, and what a pleasure it is to leave with a print of one of your photos.
In short, therefore, a very good pedagogy and mastery of photoshop tools, a limited number of groups in order to be able to follow each other, a place well equipped and adapted to the training. The little something extra, the group photo trip to deepen your knowledge of urban photography and of course to share a moment of conviviality.
See you soon for a new training or a good restaurant!

    Workshop on 19/20 October 2019

First color workshop with David. Top quality teaching, as with b&w! David gives his course with pedagogy and in a graduated way, explaining in a precise way the notions of colors and their management. Using Photoshop tools and some filters to give our images an artistic look! Each trainee is carefully followed and no one is left behind with unanswered questions.
David is not a stingy man of his time... No time limit for either theoretical instruction or outings. And to finalize this workshop, we were asked to do our own photo prints at the Parisgraphie workshop. Warm and passionate welcome from these printing professionals who explained in detail the inks and papers as well as the method of using these impressive Epson printers!
The atmosphere of the workshop is very friendly, the teaching in the field is very serious. The very positive result can only encourage me to recommend this workshop to lovers of colour architecture!
Thank you again David for sharing your knowledge with such professionalism, kindness and availability.
And of course I'll see you soon!
