Give your images a creative touch!
The effects of movement in an image can produce highly original results, and add a real creative touch.
Having used these techniques for many years, I've tested many different approaches to varying the effects.
Applied here to architecture, they also work on different styles of images. The result will also depend very much on the characteristics of the photograph used as a basis.
For the record, all the effects created in this course are created using Adobe Photoshop only.
Course content:
You will discover and study the various techniques for creating images, as shown in the examples below.
There are several possible combinations of directional blurs, which will be described in detail. These will be discussed in detail.
In addition to directional blur, which will be covered in detail, you will learn how to use other types of blur.
Blur filters are not the only possibilities. Here, you will learn a few additional techniques to personalize your images even further.
Some filters and plug-ins can produce interesting results.
I will introduce you to some of the possibilities with Boris FX and Nik Collection.
For the record, these plug-ins are not required for the course.
Several photos will be used during the course, to demonstrate the various possibilities.
Working files are provided.
An intermediate level of Photoshop is sufficient to follow this course.
This course is indeed much more creative than technical.
Notes:
This course consists of both theory and practice. I will adapt and alternate these two parts according to the knowledge you have already acquired, and the techniques I will introduce to you.
For the practical part, you will be guided through the image creation process.
Course video:
This course is accompanied by a video, recorded live during the course.
Also, depending on your specific needs, which will be assessed during the course, certain additional points may be added to the video.
The video will be sent to you in MP4 format, via WeTransfer, after the course.
Working files:
The image files used during this course are supplied and sent prior to the course date.

I have taken several of David's Photoshop courses and he never disappoints. I just completed his latest course on Creative Motion Blur where he provides instructive examples of how to apply his techniques. With this photoshop motion blur session, David took great care to detail and demonstrate how he works his magic to produce stunning creative images. This session not only broadened my Photoshop skills but also gave me new ideas on how to approach making my own creative images. For those thinking of taking this or any of his other courses David tailors his courses to different skill levels and provides one-on-one sessions, lasting 3 hours and conducted online via Zoom. This Creative Motion Blur course, as well as his other courses, are well worth your time and investment.
Thanks, David for sharing your techniques and advice.

David's Photoshop Creative Motion Blur Course is a true gem! This is my second 1:1 course with David and it truly reached beyond my learning expectations! David explains the techniques and tools very well and this lends itself to endless creative opportunities for the photographer. I appreciate David's knowledge of photoshop and his approach to teaching. He was able to tailor the course to my skill level and always encourages one to "play". I always come away with new ideas to practice and explore. The blur techniques are creative and engaging. Also loved how he created lines within brushes to create wonderful additional effects. I highly recommend this course and it is a well deserved five star recommendation! Thanks for elevating my photography David!

I got to know David through Facebook, where I found the work he goes out of his way to do to be incredibly impressive. Some would say that it's no longer photography. True, and he admits it himself, but his work is based on a photo he has taken, which he transforms into a captivating image. So I took the plunge and took my first class, which I'm sure won't be my last.
You get lost in the blur, whether directional or half circles, and your imagination is carried away to faraway places.
Above all, David is a simple, humble person who doesn't sell himself on his knowledge, but quickly gets down to your level and tries to help you move forward in your quest for creativity.
He has a lot of patience and, above all, is a very good teacher. If you get stuck, he doesn't hesitate to start again in a different way, with infinite patience.
He's also happy to tell you about other people who can help you with photography.
The three-hour course almost lasted four hours.....And by the end he was ravenous and I was satiated with all this knowledge.

With this new course from David, in the tradition of his previous ones, I knew I wouldn't be disappointed.
And yet I had no idea what the results would be. This course offers a creative and artistic approach to architectural photography, and in that respect it's sublime.
Davis's method is very well-developed, very educational, fascinating and his explanations are clear. I also appreciate that it's not a monologue; he listens, hears and, above all, he responds.
The fact that he gives me his hand means I can work directly under the Master's eye. Afterwards, personal work becomes all the easier.
David is not stingy with his time, and in pre- and post-course discussions we can tackle any subject. We're more in a buddy relationship than a teacher/student one.
I don't think this will be my last course, so see you soon.

I recently joined David in a one-to-one Photoshop course via Zoom on Creative Motion Blur. David is an excellent educator, and I learned so much about the application of various blur techniques to produce creative architectural images. Sample images were provided, on which David first processed and explained the technique. Importantly, I was then able to work on the same image under David's patient and instructive guidance. This is the first workshop of Davids that I have participated in, and it will not be the last. Highly recommended. Mark S
