Description
This course is available in English and French
Take image creation a step further with plug-ins and artificial intelligence.
This course follows on from my Photoshop floral art coursecourse, in which "classic" techniques are studied using Photoshop. Note that it is not necessarily necessary to have taken the floral art course to be able to follow this course. The approach between the 2 is totally different.
Here, images will be created largely through the use of tools such as artificial intelligence and plugins (filters) including Boris FX, Flood 2 and Nik Collection. Images will be processed in Photoshop.
Course content :
Artificial intelligence:
The Adobe Firefly application will be used to generate a basic image, i.e. the flower(s).
At this stage, you'll learn to use the right terms (prompt). The idea is to generate flowers that are not completely photo-realistic. We're in the realm of fantasy here. You'll also need to use the right terms to make the next step easier.
Trimming:
Before starting the creative process, it is necessary to prepare the image by creating selections. These can be total selections, separating the subject from the background, or partial selections. These techniques are covered in detail in the Floral Art course.
Creating effects:
A wide range of possibilities will be explored here. Several Photoshop filters and effects will be discussed in detail.
Using plugins:
As explained above, this course will cover the use of several plugins. If you don't have them, you can download trial versions. They are installed in Photoshop filters.
Boris FX Optics: this software specializes in the creation of effects. It contains a large number of filters, all of which can be modified, offering almost infinite possibilities.
Food2: this plugin lets you create water reflections. It's easy to use and creates some interesting effects.
Nik Collection: this suite of software is well known to photographers. Here, I'll show you how to use some of the lesser-known filters.
Note:
Boris FX and Flood 2 are only available in English. However, it's not very difficult to use them, even without understanding the language.
Notes:
This course consists of both theory and practice. I will adapt and alternate these two parts according to the knowledge you have already acquired, and the techniques I will introduce to you.
For the practical part, you will be guided through the image creation process.
Course video:
This course is accompanied by a video, recorded live during the course.
Also, depending on your specific needs, which will be assessed during the course, certain additional points may be added to the video.
The video will be sent to you in MP4 format, via WeTransfer, after the course.
Working files:
The image files used during this course are supplied and sent prior to the course date.

Floral Creative
After I had taken David's "Floral Art" Course I followed up with his "Creative Floral Art" workshop which exposed me to new creative techniques using Photoshop. This particular course focused on using his creatives techniques using both AI and non AI techniques. I really appreciated David's teaching approach, he is very willing and patient in answering your questions or concerns. With a little time and effort you can transform your photos in very creative and amazing ways. One of the bonuses of taking David's workshops is that he also sends you a recorded video of the session that allows you to go back to review techniques that was demonstrated during the course.

Three hours of comprehensive training on the use of Photoshop's creative tools, as well as plugins such as Boris FX, Flood 2 and Nik Collection, for a truly wow final result.
David answered all my questions clearly and professionally.
And to top it all off, I received a recording of the video within an hour of the end of the course, so I could practice straight away.
Thanks David
