This course will enable you to discover the specificity of architectural photography. This field of photography demands rigor and precision in its practice, and you will learn about its characteristics.

Course content :
- Introduction to architectural photography I will introduce you to the different approaches.
- What equipment to use camera, optics, tripods, accessories, each element will be explained. During the course, you'll also have the opportunity to discover a tilt-shift lens specially designed for architectural photography (Canon TS-E 17mm f/4L).
- Lighting You'll study the different types of light and their impact on architecture.
- Shooting Shooting: camera settings and shooting modes adapted to architectural photography will be explained.
- Constraints and hazards I'll explain the various aspects you need to take into account, such as variations in light levels, weather conditions, undesirable elements in the frame at the time of shooting, etc.
- Composition Composition: since the rules of composition are a subject in their own right in photography, I'll introduce you to those generally used in architectural photography.
I'll review the lines that characterize buildings. You'll learn their symbolism, and how to use them in composition.
- Post-processing Post-processing: at the end of the course, I'll give you an introduction to correcting architectural images.

Remarks :
- If you have a tripod, which is very useful for architectural photography, you can bring it with you.
- This course is dedicated to outdoor architectural photography. However, we do cover a few aspects specific to indoor photography during the course.
