Workshop presentation:
This workshop takes place over 2 days in Paris.
On the first day, in a room equipped with a video projector, you will learn how to create color architectural images, in the style you can see in my portfolio (under color architecture and Parisian views). To do this, you'll work from image files provided to you. You'll gradually transform them using the techniques I'll introduce. You'll be guided throughout the process. During the day, you'll also discover different selection techniques. Finally, tips on using Photoshop will be presented.
In the middle of the afternoon, you'll attend a 2-hour printing workshop. The first part will be devoted to theory, and the second to printing. At the end of the workshop, you'll receive a 30x40 cm print from one of your images.
This printing workshop is offered in collaboration with PARISGRAPHIEon their premises. You can find out more about their activities on their website, by clicking on the logo below:
On the second day , the morning will be devoted to an outdoor photo outing, during which I'll present my course dedicated to architectural photography.
To allow as much time as possible for each participant, the number of workshop participants is deliberately limited to 6.

It's aimed at anyone who loves photography and image editing, and wants to create optimized, personalized images.

Workshop October 19/20, 2019
This was my second workshop after the one on black and white architecture a year ago. The approach to this workshop is different from the black and white one. The play of colors is very playful and gives free rein to all possible fantasies (a pink Ferrari is quite improbable).
As with the first workshop, David is a great teacher. He knows how to make seemingly complex techniques accessible. Each person is accompanied through the exercises without being left behind.
The exchange with other trainees is also enriching; everyone has their own techniques, more or less conventional :-)
For the second day, we met at the Parisgraphie workshop. Very friendly welcome from passionate people. Very clear explanations on printing techniques, different papers and their rendering.
We were able to make a print on one of our images. The result was faithful to what we had on screen and of very high quality.
In conclusion, a workshop that I recommend for :
- the quality of the teaching,
- the conviviality and the attention paid to each individual.
I won't be missing the next workshop with Daniel Cheong.
See you soon

Workshop October 19/20, 2019
First training session with David, and I appreciated the quality of his courses. Patient, pedagogic, available, a positive assessment for this first workshop, in a very relaxed atmosphere. I'd also like to thank the Parisgraphie workshop for the warm welcome and the advice given, thank you all, I'll be signing up again for the next edition without hesitation, see you soon!

Workshop October 19/20, 2019
After several training sessions with David, I decided on this color workshop as a complement to the black and white one, in order to better understand the use of color in Photoshop.
Always a patient teacher, David is never stingy with advice adapted to each individual, and even more so with his time, during the workshop of course, but also afterwards to provide after-sales service :)
The special feature of this workshop was that it went as far as photo printing. The next day, we met at the Parisgraphie workshop, where a team of enthusiasts was waiting for us. After technical explanations of printing and papers, it was time to get hands-on. The results were simply stunning in terms of quality and fidelity, and what a pleasure it was to leave with a print of one of our photos.
To sum up, the teaching and mastery of Photoshop tools was excellent, the group size was limited so that everyone could follow the course, and the venue was well-equipped and suited to the training. The little extra was a group photo outing to deepen your knowledge of urban photography and, of course, to share a moment of conviviality.
See you soon for a new course or a good restaurant!

Workshop October 19/20, 2019
First color workshop with David. Top teaching quality, as with b&w! David teaches his course in a pedagogical, step-by-step manner, explaining in precise detail the concepts of color and color management. We use Photoshop tools and filters to give our images an artistic look! Each trainee is carefully monitored, and no one is left with unanswered questions.
David is not stingy with his time... No time limits either for theoretical instruction or for outings. And to round off the workshop, we were invited to make our own prints at the Parisgraphie workshop. We received a warm and enthusiastic welcome from these printing professionals, who explained in detail the inks and papers used, as well as how to use these impressive Epson printers!
The workshop atmosphere was extremely friendly, and the hands-on teaching very serious. The very positive outcome can only encourage me to recommend this workshop to lovers of color architecture!
Thanks again David for sharing your knowledge with such professionalism, kindness and availability.
And of course, see you soon!
